NovaResp Check-In Messaging Program · Effective 2026-06-29

What these terms cover. These terms apply only to the SMS and email messaging program that NovaResp uses to deliver your daily check-in link. They do not cover the study you’re participating in — the consent form you signed at enrollment governs the study itself, including what happens with your responses.

About the Program

The NovaResp Check-In messaging program (the “Program”) is operated by NovaResp Technologies Inc. It sends enrolled participants periodic SMS or email messages containing a personalized link to an online check-in form.

Eligibility

Participants are 18 or older and have opted in to the Program through a NovaResp study.

SMS terms

About one message per day.
Message and data rates may apply from your carrier. NovaResp does not charge you to participate.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for contact information.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your link

Each link is personal and time-limited. Don’t share or forward it.

Privacy

How the messaging program handles your phone number, email, and link-click information is described in our Privacy Policy. Your study responses are covered by your study consent, not by these terms or that policy.

Liability

The Program is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NovaResp is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Program. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Program.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights you have in your province of residence.
